Highly recommend Howdy Bagel if you’re in the Tacoma or Seattle area. Don’t let the lines discourage you. They’re worth the wait but also the lines go by quick. The workers at Howdy Bagel are friendly and fast. I tried the Hot to Go on an everything bagel, and it was delicious. I can’t wait to try their other items. Highly recommend 10/10!

Howdy Bagel is a total treasure in Tacoma every sandwich is thoughtfully crafted and full of bold, beautiful flavor. The English Breakfast is crisp and refreshing, layered with cucumbers and onions that brighten every bite. It’s like morning sunshine in bagel form. The Sausage & Egg hits all the savory notes you crave comforting, hearty, and so satisfying. And the Avocado Boast is a fresh, creamy dream for anyone who loves avocados. There are so many ways to build your perfect bagel here, and every one of them fills your belly and your soul. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, you’ll leave smiling and already planning your return. Run, don’t walk. Your bagel bliss awaits.

My first time at Howdy Bagel and now I understand the hype! I’ve always seen the line out the door and finally had to try it for myself. Definitely worth the wait. I asked what their most popular item was, and the staff recommended the “Lox in the Box” — and wow. Everything about it was perfect: the taste, the presentation, the freshness. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Coolest little place to grab a bite to eat and a damn good cup of coffee. Perfect blend, taste of coffee, with a splash of oatmilk. The vanilla flavor was homemade, not processed sugar. Cute café style, dogs allowed, neat trinkets for sale and tons of swag to purchase. Decoration for the holidays, was just enough. Not too much. I had the rosemary salted begal with the special jalapeño cranberry cream cheese. Wow. Perfect amount of flavor. Our group also had an everything breakfast begal nice thick bacon and perfect seasoning on begal. As my niece said 'that was delectable' :)

Such a cute hidden gem in the area. I tried the Lox in the Box and Grit City Lox—it looked amazing, and tasted great. Grabbed a couple of different cream cheeses and handmade bagels to go, and they were all good. They also have cute merch that adds to the charm. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area. They stop making hot sandwiches at 2pm.

My husband and I are from Colorado, and we stopped by your shop today. This is truly the best bagel shop we have ever tried! The bagels were incredibly fresh, perfectly chewy, and full of flavor. The service was wonderful and the shop had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’re so glad we found this place and will definitely come back whenever we’re in town!

Finally got the chance to try howdy bagels! Honestly so worth the hype, we got the rosemary salt bagels and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Crunchy and soft with the perfect amount of salt (for salt lovers). There absolutely will be quite a long line so be prepared. The indoor is decorated in a perfect western/hipster theme. Prices are fairly typical. We got the sausage egg and cheese add ago and it had a delicious aioli on it. We also did the avo boast which was great for vegetarians! Iced vanilla latte was surprisingly good but quite small for a medium. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town! Be warned: there is very little seating inside, only a few tables which were completely full with their own lines by opening.
